10OPT. Custom Aspherical Lens
Each PF66 body is machined from a single block of aerospace-grade
aluminum on a 5-axis CNC — every curve, every aperture, every
thread formed in one pass, in one coordinate system. Tolerances
are held to a hundredth of a millimeter.
The finished body is anodized to a matte black — not a coating,
but a microscopic layer of aluminum oxide grown directly from
the metal itself. It hardens the shell, resists wear, and
becomes part of the body. The color does not chip. It does not
fade.
Geared manual focus — linear travel, tactile feedback. Snap on the external module to switch to autofocus.
Two-stage release. Half-press locks exposure, full press fires — composing and shooting in one fluid motion.
Flip the lever to engage the built-in ND filter. Shoot wide open in bright light — no external filter required.
Defaults to exposure compensation (±EV). With an accessory module attached, it remaps to that module's primary control.
Two precision metering sensors inside the body cross-reference and self-correct for steadier exposure readings.
